It is the Sun Temple in Dev (Aurangabad district) of Bihar. This temple is not oriented towards the west. This temple is famous for its unique sculpture. This temple, carved out of stones, carved a fine art piece of art. There is a huge crowd on the occasion of Chhath festival.

 The construction of the temple.

According to popular belief, it has been created by Lord Vishwakarma himself . According to the Shlok written in Sanskrit out of this temple, after the passing of 12 lakh 16 thousand years of Tretayuga, King Alapput Purpura El had started the construction of this Surya Mandir. Inscription shows that in the pre-2007, this legendary temple was completed for one lakh fifty thousand seven years. Archaeologists consider the construction of this temple in the middle of the eighth-9th century.

 Architecture.

It is said that there are symbols and symbols in the stone of the Sun Temple. The victory symbol indicates that the artist of the craft had won the art of making the sun temple itself. There are many types of legends about the architectural art of the Gods temple.

  Statues 

In the courtyard of the temple, the carved stone sculptures of the sun with seven chariots exist in the form of their three forms, Udayachal, Modhal and Astachal. Along with this, there are dozens of statues of wonderful craft art. Sitting on Shiva's thigh in the temple is the statue of Parvati. Shivalinga is worshiped in all the temples. That is why this rare statue of Shiva Parvati attracts devotees very much.

  Nature of temple

The craft of the temple meets Konark Sun Temple in Orissa. God Sun Temple is made in two parts. The first embryonic house on which there is lotus shaped peak and gold casing above the summit. The second part is the head quarter, on which the pyramidal roof and the roof are the columns of carved stones to support. Unlike all the Hindu temples, the western Goddess Surya temple is considered to be Devarkar, which is the most fruitful and fulfilling destination for devotees.

It is the responsibility of the god Sun Temple Trust Committee to take care of this temple.
